First designed and built in 1960 by Walt Disney for his daughter, Diane, this house is a classic example of modern glamour popular in the 1960’s. The client purchased the property in largely original condition, save for piecemeal renovations made over time, with the intent to restore it to its initial form with modern improvements. The home was entirely stripped back to its structure and re-built with all new surface finishes throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely renovated and exterior treatments were fully updated and restored. Vintage furnishings were selected and installed in all rooms, including common spaces and bedrooms.
